You are not giving your 100% when you are thinking of giving up or compromising.
But that doesnt mean you blindly walk jump into the hole. You must convince yourself that it is perfectly possible. There is not question about it. Now, with that as the invariant, come up with a better plan... where there is a will, there is a way :)
